CD155, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily coding for a transmembrane protein has been shown to serve as an entry receptor for poliovirus, porcine pseudorabies virus, and bovine herpesvirus 1. CD155 gene is a transcriptional target of Sonic Hedgehog (SHH), a finding that has significance for the normal function of CD155 during development and the expression of CD155 in neuroectodermal tumors.
PVR antibody can be used in ELISA starting at 1:1000 - 1:6000, Western Blot starting at 1:200 - 1:2000, and immunohistochemistry starting at 5 μg/mL.
